    • 24 Hour Crisis Line: Our staff and trained volunteers provide callers with emergency crisis intervention, crisis counseling & information and referral.
    • 24 Hour Advocacy: Advocates assist victims through the medical, criminal justice and legal processes.
    • Free & Confidential Counseling: Counselors provide long and short term counseling for victims as well as family and friends who may have been affected. CVAC staff can also help you plan for safety. 
    • O.V.S. Compensation: CVAC staff can help victims of crime file for compensation through the Office of Victims Services for New York. Victims may claim out of pocket expenses for essential personal property lost due to a crime, medical expenses, etc. 
    • Education & Outreach: CVAC's education department provides community, professional and prevention education for Broome County. All of our education is free of charge. For more information or to request a training, please click here. 
    • Child Advocacy Center: The Child Advocacy Center (CAC) is a coordinated effort of professional agencies in Broome County to respond effectively to reports of child physical, sexual abuse and neglect. 
    • Sexual Assault Response Team: The Sexual Assault Response Team (SART team) is a coordinated effort of professional agencies in Broome County to respond effectively to reports of sexual assault.
